Ever since I started working on fusion films that combined photography and cinematography, I wanted to create one for a photographer and their body of work. After meeting so many photographers last year who wanted to try the concept I met Katelyn James. With her warm personality and amazing photography, she was the perfect match for this type of film. Many photographers are known through their blog or presence across social media, but a film does more than that. A film gives potential clients a chance to see and hear the photographer explain how they work and how they started. In an industry with so many different types of styles, I think it is vitally important for potential clients to have this type of opportunity to see who they might be working with and if they are compatible with one another. Katelyn has an incredible ability to connect with a couple she is photographing and I think that truly shines through in this film. Whitney | Senior Fusion

I am thrilled to share this post with you! In the Fall, we started a new concept called “Senior Fusion,” which is a unique blend of still and motion photography that provides a small glimpse into the life of a high school senior and their future ambitions. After the awesome time we had shooting and editing the last one, I was really excited that Whitney came to me for one. With all of her unique talents and awesome style, we were really able to capture her personality in this film. We hope you enjoy it!

Trey + Mary Linda | The Highlights

Last month, I had the wonderful opportunity to capture Trey & Mary Linda’s incredible wedding in Fayetteville, Arkansas. This was our first “Fusion Wedding,” where we shoot photos and video of your day, then combine them into a film. Last week we shared a small taste of their wedding day through photos and today I am proud to share their fusion film. I hope you enjoy some of the highlights of their wedding below!

Trey + Mary Linda | Wedding Teasers

Last weekend, I had the wonderful opportunity to capture Trey & Mary Linda’s incredible wedding in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The location (James at the Mill) was absolutely gorgeous and the weather was fantastic. This was our first “Fusion Wedding,” where we shoot photos and video of your day, then combine them into a film (which we will be posting early next week). We are also very thrilled to announce that some of these images will be featured in Arkansas Bride Magazine!! I hope you enjoy a sneak peak of their wedding!

Paula + Jared | E-Fusion

We are so excited to share this post with you, as it has been something in the works for a few months now. Last weekend, we had the opportunity to collaborate with Jodi Miller Photography on a new project called “E-Fusion”! E-Fusion is a new concept that combines still + motion photography of an engagement session into one medium. For couples, this means that they will not only receive photos of their engagement session, but a video too. This video can be shared online with family and friends all over the world and help you’re wedding guests get excited for the big day!

Kurt, Jodi, and I traveled to Washington D.C. to work with an amazing couple, Paula &Jared. Since Paula is from Colombia, they thought it would be fit to incorporate a travel theme into their session. We came up with several props that would represent them both, including a vintage luggage piece, globe, paper airplanes, maps, and some old-timey letters (a fun DIY we created with tea-stained paper + some photoshop action :] ) . We shot around Georgetown and ended up in a field behind Reagan Int’l Airport (the perfect setting for their theme!). So without further adieu, here is Paula & Jared’s E-Fusion:
