Whitney & Peter are an amazing couple, and we had so much fun running around Prince Michel Vineyard in the gorgeous weather! We found many awesome locations throughout the property and even a prop (the heart..which made a really awesome shot). While their wedding is not until next October of next year, I was so excited to work with them this soon. It was truly an awesome day and I cannot wait to work with them next year!

Brent + AnneCallie | Engagement Session

I am so thrilled to share Brent + AnneCallie’s engagement session with you! Having worked with Brent on film projects in the past, I knew it would be a really fun session. We shot in downtown Harrisonburg, which led us to the Spring Box in Court Square, The Artful Dodger (where they first met), and an awesome abandoned train station. I look forward to shooting their wedding in early September! Enjoy the teasers!!

Paula + Jared | E-Fusion

We are so excited to share this post with you, as it has been something in the works for a few months now. Last weekend, we had the opportunity to collaborate with Jodi Miller Photography on a new project called “E-Fusion”! E-Fusion is a new concept that combines still + motion photography of an engagement session into one medium. For couples, this means that they will not only receive photos of their engagement session, but a video too. This video can be shared online with family and friends all over the world and help you’re wedding guests get excited for the big day!

Kurt, Jodi, and I traveled to Washington D.C. to work with an amazing couple, Paula &Jared. Since Paula is from Colombia, they thought it would be fit to incorporate a travel theme into their session. We came up with several props that would represent them both, including a vintage luggage piece, globe, paper airplanes, maps, and some old-timey letters (a fun DIY we created with tea-stained paper + some photoshop action :] ) . We shot around Georgetown and ended up in a field behind Reagan Int’l Airport (the perfect setting for their theme!). So without further adieu, here is Paula & Jared’s E-Fusion:

Commercial Production Update

This past weekend, I directed a few commercials for a popular jewelry store in Little Rock, Arkansas. While I cannot reveal the company yet, the commercials are based around emotion and the special moments that we all cherish. I look forward to sharing the final commercials with you later this week.

For you filmmakers out there, the spots were shot using high end cameras capable of shooting high resolution stills and the highest tier of HD video. This concept brings a new level of quality and distinction, which was previously only seen by big budget productions. I invite you to see my “Senior Fusion” concept that takes senior portraits to the next level and hopefully it will inspire you to create your own “fusion” productions.
