One of the best things about traveling to so many weddings and events, is the opportunity to experience local hidden gems like Chiles Peach Orchard in Crozet, Virginia. Having been to Chiles once before and loving it, I always wanted to return (mostly for the absolutely amazing peach milkshake they offer). Here is a little history on Chiles before you check out the photos:
Chiles Peach Orchard was established in 1974. The original orchards were planted in the 1910’s and 1920’s. These peaches were planted for commercial production, and for years were packed and shipped all over the country. The original card table sales area has since been replaced with a beautiful new farm market. Open early May through Thanksgiving, the market is surrounded by peach and cherry trees, and a beautiful view of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

This is the original Peach stand, before it was replaced by the newer market down the road. It always reminds me of the little stands in the French countryside.

So if you ever find yourself near Charlottesville, VA, definitely check this place out! You can find directions, history, and more at: http://www.chilespeachorchard.com
For any couples thinking about fun places for their engagement session, this would be a very awesome spot! ;]
